The Public Authority for Civil Aviation Authority launched at the headquarter the logo identity under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi-Chief Executive Officer with the presence of members of the Board of Directors, numbers of representatives of the concerned authorities of Civil Aviation and the relevant authorities in the Sultanate. Identity launch came in conjunction with the “Civil Aviation Authority day," which is organized annually through which number of activities are arranged to support and motivate staff productivity as well as to strengthen the relation between employees and remove them from daily work pressure as it is reflected by such meetings.

The end of the 10th session of the Intergovernmental Coordination Group for the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System (ICG / IOTWS-X) in 26 March 2015 with  participation of 28 countries from Indian Ocean.

The Public Authority of Civil Aviation organized for the first time the events of (The International Conference on Reducing Tsunami Risk in the Western Indian Ocean) and the Exhibition associated with it during 22-23 March 2015 with 180 participants from Oman and 100 from abroad.
